With readers in over 160 countries, Foreign Policy magazine is one of the worlds most respected magazines with regards to Politics and Current Affairs. In the "What Ails America" issue in Nov. 2011, Mishaal Al Gergawi brings a grim light to the subject of the American educational system. For sometime now, other countries quality of education have steadily been increasing while our diminishes. We must do something now to secure our statis in the worlds future. If not, some beleive the United States could slip into becoming a 3rd World country.

Foreign Policy reached out to eDOT & asked him to provide them with a photograph that represents this subject. The photo chosen and used (as seen above & available for sale on VisArG) was taken at the recently demolished 'old' Cass Tech High in Detroit. It is part of eDOT's "Decayed Vision" portfolio.

New Focus

   

This month eDOT added a "New Focus" to his artwork;

Pittsburgh.

Having recently relocated to Pittsburgh, eDOT has found new inspiration & now has a "New Focus" on art.

This past year has been riddled with setbacks. Months worth of website delays has been frustrating for fans, as well as eDOT himself. But all that is about to change! He assures everyone that the website will be completely updated with new artwork and merchandise by the first of November. Also, the looong awaited pictorial "Detroit, the past is present" will finally be available for sale by the first of the year. This will be the first of three books that eDOT plans to release.

He is also planning a "One-night Exhibit" at a local gallery in Detroit (coming in spring) and is hoping to do the same in Pittsburgh, He is currently looking for sponsors for the Event, which includes Live Music, Theatrical Performers, Beverages and of course tons of Artwork... New Blog Layout

Obviously the eDOT Blog has gotten a facelift, but why?

Well, there's a lot of new things in store for eDOT fans...
1 - New artwork will be available for sale on the website this month,
2 - Tons of new Merchandise will also be for sale,
3 - eDOT's photography will be seen in the Nov. issue of Foreign Policy magazine,

4 - After months of delays, eDOT's book titled " Detroit, the Past is Present" will finally be completed and available for sale next month.
